Crypt 33: The Saga of Marilyn Monroe - The Final Word

How long will these questions go on?
On the eve of another Marilyn movie, "Blonde", I pulled this book out of my library and re-read it. The photos are amazing, and included in the book are official documentation copies that spur furthur contemplation about her death.

Will the questions and the responsiblitiy of her death ever be publicly accountable? I doubt it.

For those still fascinated by this lady, you will enjoy this book and find the facts well researched. Look at THESE pictures and tell me she is not one of the most fascinating, captivating, intriguing women of the world. She died in her prime, and she left the most beautiful part of her in everyone's memory.

That is SO "Marilyn", and someone took full advantage of that and of her.

Excellent Content - The Story Fits Together Perfectly
This book is fantastic! Not only does it outline Miss Monroe's life in great detail, it also explains her death. Which, until this point, has seemed unexplainable. In order to truly understand her life and the reasons behind her sometimes obscure behavior, a complete, yet disturbing chronology was outlined by the authors. The book names her murderers and surprisingly, some of them were her trusted "friends" who - acting under strict orders - completely double-crossed her. The shameless cover-ups by a disgraceful group of people quickly followed her death and apparantly still continues today. A truly sad look into an American tragedy, this book should be written into a script and shown to the entire world!

A stunning revelation for all Marilyn's fans!
I was truly amazed to read this book about the new revelations surounding Marilyn Monroe's death. First, the authors are able to examine all the evidences one by one, they ruly put you in that investigation! Since many false arguments about that subject have been said;one question remaining and this is what that book answered: WHO KILL MARILYN MONROE AND HOW? So, that's all I can say; just read that book yourself and you will find out the truth. Also, the book take a look at how Marilyn manage herself great about her last weeks, her futur ambitious plans, the way she want her carreer to go...In one word, it show Marilyn like she was; vulnerable, poignant, happy; on her own to find a new way to explore in her life. Unfortunately, she just don't have the time to do it. P.S. Sorry for my english mistakes...I'll hope you enjoy this book as much as me. Have a great reading!

God Is Awesome
With vivid, concrete word pictures Robin Monroe helps young children see the awesomeness of a powerful and loving God. My favoite part: "He is perfect. He NEVER, EVER makes a mistake. Some mistakes I can fix with my eraser. I bet God's pencils don't have erasers."

Marlene McAuley's bright illustrations are a great match for the delightful text. No wonder God Is Awesome is a favorite with all my little friends and gets requested at bedtime over and over.

Puts the concept of God in words for little children.
How do you explain a wonderfully complicated God to young children. Author Robin Prince Monroe does an admiral job of this difficult task in "God is Awesome". It is a book of worship for very young kids.

A big God in words for little children.
This book takes some of the attributes of God and puts them in words that even very small children can understand. The illustrations are child pleasing, full of fun animals and lots of smiles. It makes a good baby gift or perhaps a rememberance at baptism.

In Search of My Husband's Mind

Authors: Winnie Hirsch and Eugene D. Wheeler

I find it very inspiring.
I find this book very inspiring. She's a very strong woman

A fantastic, tragic story. An amazing book.
If you are a little suspicious of the medical profession and if you fear the day when you have to take a loved one to a hospital please read this. Or better yet, give it to whomever might be taking you. This is not only alarming but it is a wonderful personal love story. It puts it all in perspective. If you want to read a great book that nobody seems to know about, this is a great discovery.

a true story of love, lies and medical mis-management
When we're sick, we need to think the doctor knows enough, and cares. But something went horribly wrong in the medical treatment of Monroe Hirsch. The change in his personality was sudden, unexplained, even denied by the health professionals who did know the reason.

This is a love story and true, told by Monroe's wife. Seeing the man who'd loved her replaced by a beligerent and distrusful stranger, she tells how she sought to find answers, and any way at all to help him.

Winnie had every reason to expect competence and honesty from doctors, having seen it at work for so long. Monroe was an eminent optometrist, Dean of the School of Optometry at the University of California at Berkeley. Winnie had worked with him in his practice and knew the demanding standards he set for himself. But professionalism is like every other form of goodness -- an ideal to build again every day. The best of us admit to falling short somehow, daily. This story reminds us that some don't admit to falling short.

Deliberate lies and false hopes make dirty wounds. The cruelest aspect of the deceit Winnie faced was that it turned her own strengths against her. In situations of alienation, fair-minded people look first to themselves. In the face of difficulty, responsible people try harder. With intelligence and courage, Winnie battled alone and lonely, often against herself, for something already lost.

There's redemption here too. Winnie did find answers, and did have some last months of better knowledge and a kind of peace before her husband died. And now her story carries a powerful message. Even in a medical crisis, we must trust our own persistent convictions. And we're entitled to stay in control.

I was moved by this book -- angered, inspired, saddened and empowered. I wish everyone, particularly every woman could read it.

Left-brain finance for right-brain people : a money guide for the creatively inclined

A must-have for anyone befuddled by personal finances
From the first page to the last, this book not only offers to-the-point lucid descriptions but performs that task in an entertaining way.

Excellent, easy read for all the financial info you need
This book explains complicated financial information in an easy-to-understand format. I use this book for my tax clients to help them understand issues involved with obtaining a mortgage, understanding mutual funds and investing, and how to save money for retirement. Even if you shy away from financial issues because they are boring, you'll love this book. It gives you the same information a long boring book gives you in simple, easy-to-understand examples you will relate to. You don't even have to read the entire book. It's like a finanical library, pick out the topic that interests you and read it to learn what you need to know in just a few minutes. I love the part on insurance, explains all the things no one ever taught me. The part on investing cleared up questions I've wondered about. My clients love it. If you are in business, it makes a nice thank you gift for clients. They are really impressed with the book.

Best Book on personal finance, great for right-brainers too.
This is the best book on personal finance I have ever seen. The books cuts out all the boring financial stuff and you are left with the 'gems' of what you really need to know to manage your money. It starts with the "big picture" and explains in terms everyone can understand. Highly reccomended for a graduation gift for high school or college or as a wedding gift. Wish I had known all this when I was younger. Even simplifies taxes. No household should be without it

Marilyn : the ultimate look at the legend
Published in Unknown Binding by Smith Gryphon Publishers ()
Author: James Haspiel
Average review score:

Original Marilyn Angle - Worth Every Dollar.
If you can get this book, get it. Mr. Haspiel was a teenager when he met Marilyn and he stuck with her. His information is first hand, as opposed to authors who cash in on researched material. James Haspiel is the source writers went to for their magazine articles and such, and his book is wonderful. He even has pictures of Marilyn, proudly displayed, without make-up on.

MARILYN: THE ULTIMATE LOOK AT THE LEGEND
I found this book to be a very special one on Marilyn Monroe and her "platonic" relationship with a special fan/friend. This book spans an eight year relationship with the author. You get a "back-seat" view of how Monroe's personality was, whether it was happy, gloomy, or sad during their "friendship" period. I truly enjoyed reading this book. It should be considered a "must read" and "must have" copy for for all Monroe's fans' and buffs' libraries alike. As the previous reader stated, this book was written from a perspective of someone being very close to Miss Monroe; somewhat placing this as a "unique" and interesting bit of MM reading. Lastly, the author gives the reader a "touching" bit of his own soul, when he describes his very last meeting with Miss Monroe before leaving for California.

A candid account of the authors close frienship with MM
This book is a revealing account of Mr. Haspiels friendship/relationship with Marilyn Monroe ("Mazzie" as he affectionately calls her) during the last 8 years of her life. Not just another historical perspective of Miss Monroe's life, the book is written from the viewpoint of someone who was obviously quite close to Miss Monroe as the many photo's and documents substantiate. The candid revelations and thoughts concerning the author's and Miss Monroe's friendship is what makes this book unique. A highly recommended book especially for those interested in a more personal account of the life of Marilyn Monroe.

Extremely Rare
I own this book in uncirculated condition. I read it once and put it back into the box. This book will be extremely valuable in the years to come due to the extraordinarily few copies produced. I just put it away in my collection so it can remain in the same condition (new) as I acquired it. When I am old and gray I will put it up on EBAY and fund my retirement.

Marilyn: a Hollywood Farewell: The Death & Funeral of MM
I found this book unique not only when I first reviewed and decided on purchasing it for my extensive Marilyn Monroe library collection, but, for its' contents. Basically, the way the book was arranged chronologically through each step by step event on Monroe's funeral procession. You see the uniformed officers (who are later to be identified as "Pinkerton" detective agency guards) that were instructed by Joe DiMaggio to prevent any people (who were not invited by DiMaggio and Monroe's Step-sister, Bernice Miracle from entering the cemetery during Monroe's funeral). The book is well illustrated, and unlike most of the other Marilyn Monroe books that I have, due to its' subject matter has a tendency towards the morose. Again, this book is very unique and will not be something that one can easily review and shelve away. I really got a sad and seriousness about it after reading and carefully reviewing it. The reader will also get a glimpse of "Monroe" in the morgue. However, the photographer, "Leigh Weiner" states that he did have the opportunity of photographing the "late" star's nude body on the marble slab but reserved and maintained a true respect for her by not including and publishing her photos in her final state of death. In closing, this book is and should be considered the final closing chapter in the tragically short lived career of the most unappreciated, envied, loved and missed movie legends of the 20th and without a doubt through the 21st century.

Marilyn A Hollywood farewell and Forever
I was waiting for a long time this book, is a sad book about the death and funeral of Marilyn Monroe, one of the most famous persons in the world. It is a photograpy book, very serious and respectful. I felt bizarre when I received the book because I was in Westwood Memorial Park is August this year. I saw a lonely grave in a quiet place. It was a intimate feeling for Marilyn. The cemetery had gronwed a lot in 38 years. This book let me know who everything happened at that time. I recomend this book, it is hard to find but no impossible, thanks to Amazon.com

The Assassination of Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn's Murderers Uncovered!
This book was simply superb, and it contained a lot of hidden information unknown to me. For instance, the lovechild between
Marilyn and Kennedy and the scandalous secrets about the ... Kennedys that led to her death. The author has a very introspective view of the complete chaos her life was in during the end, and of treacherous friends who had woven a web of deceit around her plying her with drugs to keep her off balance
and confused. Luring her to Cal-Neva to be sexually abused and silenced by threats if she persisted in pursuing the Kennedys and vowing to hold a tell-all news conferance that would have been the end of Camelot. Oh! the shame of it all, heres a girl who had it all, beauty, fame and fortune but no inner peace for the tortured Norma Jean. For as it says "What does it mean to gain the whole world but lose your soul"!

I highly recommend this book for anyone who holds a good thought
for Marilyn, and is searching for the truth asto how she really

died, laying to rest the lies and coverup of the suicide theory,
kept in place for over forty years. Dynamite!! 3 thumbs up!!!

This is one 'wow' book
I have always been fascinated by Marilyn Monroe and often wondered how and why she died so young. There are so many conflicting theroies, but the contents of this book are little short of explosive. They may not be correct, though someone must know the truth? Seems never published in the USA. Why not? Has someone got something to hide. Methinks... probably YES! ....

this book is a MUST read. The varied articles are
revealing, stimulating, fascinating, well-written,
with marvellous footnotes and bibliography. Oh, if
all university, edited publications could be so good.
If this ever makes it to a reprint or paperback,
more varied and colour photos would just be the icing on the cake.

Catnapper

Authors: The Monroe Institute and Metamusic
Average review score:

Kitty-fied!
My first impression of this tape was that it was iffy, based on the narrator's voice, which sounded a little weird to me. I proceeded with an open mind, however, and found the tape to be everything it promised and more! Unlike most other relaxation tapes that start with the exercise of relaxing the feet and working upward, this tape started with the practical idea of relaxing the head and face first, working downward. This is a superior concept if you think about it: After a tense day at the office, who can or wants to think about relaxing their feet when their head and neck are hurting? Catnapper zero's in on what's important by relaxing the head, neck AND MIND first. As a result, I found myself easily falling into a deep trance state whisping me away from distracting thoughts, aches and pains. The music used is soothing - kind of like "floating in space" music. It's one of my favorites. Also, a suggestion for people who want to use it to meditate: If you're the type who likes to lay down while meditating, try using Catnapper with one of your arms pointing upward from the elbow. If you start to fall asleep, your arm will start to fall and you'll remain awake instead.

A quick nap in half the time
A friend of mine introduced me to this. Listened to this wilst lying down and the nap was enough to refresh us enough to enjoy our first day of holiday after our flight arriving at 6am!

Conversations with Marilyn
Published in Unknown Binding by Mason/Charter ()
Author: William J. Weatherby
Average review score:

A must-have for MM collectors!
The author knew Marilyn and liked her very much. He first met her during the filming of "The Misfits." Later, he would meet her in a NYC bar and discuss all types of subjects, from MM's lovers, her views on civil rights, her compassion and kindness towards her fans, her future, her secret affair with a famous politician (she didn't reveal the name). This is one of the best books ever written about MM because the English author is careful to remain objective. This is NOT a kiss and tell biography and that makes it more valuable to the MM fan. Don't miss this one!

Shows Marilyn as a person
This book really lets you see the real person. The insecure, sweet woman we all love. I would reccamend this book very much
